These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Noritales, including our website, applications, subscriptions, personalized stories, audiobooks, and other digital features (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, purchasing a product, starting a subscription, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. About Noritales
Noritales is a digital platform operated by Noriloop LLC. It enables parents and guardians to access, create, and manage age-appropriate digital stories and audiobooks for children.
Depending on the product or plan selected, the Service may include:
- access to a library of digital stories;
- personalized or custom-generated children's stories;
- audiobook creation and playback;
- optional personalization using names, preferences, images, or voice recordings supplied by an authorized adult;
- subscription-based features;
- one-time digital purchases; and
- other educational or entertainment-focused digital features introduced from time to time.
Noritales provides digital content for educational and entertainment purposes. It is not a medical, psychological, therapeutic, diagnostic, or professional counseling service.
2. Adults, Parents, and Guardians
Noritales is intended to be purchased, subscribed to, and managed by adults.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or make a purchase.
Where the Service is used for or with a child, the account holder must be the child's parent, legal guardian, or another adult who has the legal authority to provide the information, permissions, images, recordings, and other materials submitted to the Service.
Children are not permitted to independently enter into a paid subscription or purchase agreement with Noriloop LLC.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for:
- providing accurate and current account information;
- maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
- all activity that occurs through your account; and
- notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
We may require additional verification where reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent fraud, comply with law, or protect the Service.
4. Products, Plans, and Pricing
The features, limits, prices, billing intervals, and deliverables applicable to each product or subscription are shown on the relevant product or pricing page before purchase.
Current plan information is available on the Noritales Plans page.
Prices may vary by country, currency, plan, promotion, or applicable taxes. The total amount payable is displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase.
We may change future pricing or plan features. Changes affecting an existing paid subscription will be communicated where required by applicable law.
5. Payments and Stripe
Purchases made through the Noritales website are sold by Noriloop LLC and processed by Stripe, our payment processor.
For these transactions:
- Noriloop LLC is the seller of the product or subscription;
- Stripe processes the payment on our behalf, and your full payment card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by Noriloop LLC;
- applicable sales taxes, VAT, GST, or similar transaction taxes are calculated through Stripe Tax and shown at checkout before you pay; and
- refunds and chargebacks are handled by Noriloop LLC under the Noritales Refund Policy.
Noriloop LLC is responsible for providing and supporting the Noritales product itself.
The name shown on your payment statement will be NORITALES or a similar Noritales statement descriptor.
6. Subscriptions and Automatic Renewal
Some Noritales products are offered as recurring subscriptions.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout:
- subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period;
- the payment method associated with the subscription may be charged for each renewal;
- renewal continues until the subscription is canceled; and
- cancellation normally prevents future renewals while allowing access until the end of the already-paid billing period.
You can cancel an eligible subscription through the account tools made available to you or by contacting support@noritales.com.
Any legally required renewal notice, cancellation right, or consumer protection right remains unaffected.
7. One-Time Digital Purchases
Certain products may be offered as one-time purchases, including custom digital stories, audiobook generation, or other digital content.
The description, price, and deliverables for a one-time purchase will be shown before checkout.
Because these products may involve digital generation or personalization, production may begin shortly after purchase. Your statutory rights, including any applicable withdrawal or cancellation rights, are not limited by these Terms.
8. Refunds and Cancellations
Refund eligibility depends on the type of purchase, applicable consumer law, and the circumstances of the request.
Please review the separate Noritales Refund Policy before purchasing.
Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or consumer protection right available under applicable law.
9. Digital Delivery
Noritales products are delivered digitally.
Access to standard subscription features may be made available shortly after successful payment. Personalized stories, audiobooks, or other generated content may require additional processing time.
Estimated delivery or generation times are not guaranteed where delays result from technical failures, third-party service availability, content safety checks, unusually high demand, or events beyond our reasonable control.
If a paid digital product cannot be delivered, please contact us so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, regenerate the content, provide an alternative remedy, or arrange an eligible refund through the applicable payment process.
10. Personalized and AI-Assisted Content
Some Noritales features may use automated or artificial intelligence systems to help generate or personalize stories, illustrations, narration, or other digital content.
Generated content may occasionally contain errors, inconsistencies, unexpected wording, pronunciation differences, or other imperfections.
We use technical and operational safeguards intended to improve quality and age appropriateness, but automated content should not be treated as professional educational, medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.
Where appropriate, parents and guardians should review personalized content before presenting it to a child.
11. Images, Voice Recordings, and Personalization Materials
If you upload or provide names, text, photographs, illustrations, voice recordings, or other materials ("User Materials"), you confirm that:
- you own the materials or have the necessary rights and permissions to use them;
- where the materials relate to a child, you are the child's parent, legal guardian, or otherwise have lawful authority to provide them;
- where a voice recording or likeness belongs to another person, that person has authorized the intended use where required by law; and
- the materials do not infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
You may not use Noritales to impersonate another person, create deceptive deepfakes, misuse another person's voice or likeness, or generate unlawful or harmful content.
You grant Noriloop LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to process User Materials only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and provide the Service and the features you request, subject to our Privacy Policy.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- violate any applicable law or regulation;
- infringe another person's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- upload content you are not authorized to use;
- generate or distribute abusive, exploitative, hateful, sexually explicit, fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal material;
- harm, exploit, or endanger a child;
- impersonate another person without authorization;
- interfere with or attempt to bypass the security or operation of the Service;
- scrape, reverse engineer, copy, resell, or commercially exploit the Service except where expressly permitted by law; or
- use the Service for fraudulent payment activity, chargeback abuse, or other misuse.
We may remove content, restrict functionality, suspend an account, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address violations, security risks, legal obligations, or abuse.
13. Intellectual Property
The Noritales platform, software, branding, design, interfaces, templates, and platform-owned content are owned by or licensed to Noriloop LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, no intellectual property rights are transferred to you.
You retain ownership of your original User Materials, subject to the limited license necessary for us to provide the Service.
Rights in generated or personalized output may depend on applicable law, the relevant product, and third-party model or content restrictions. We grant you the right to use content delivered to your account for personal and family use unless a product description expressly provides broader rights.
14. Service Availability and Changes
We work to keep Noritales available and reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.
We may update, improve, replace, limit, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, product development, third-party service changes, or operational reasons.
Where a material change significantly affects a paid service, we will provide notice where required by law.
15. Third-Party Services
Noritales may rely on third-party providers for payments, hosting, content generation, email delivery, analytics, storage, or other technical functions.
Those providers may apply their own terms and privacy practices to services they directly provide to you.
We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control, but we remain responsible for our own obligations under applicable law.
16. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may cancel recurring subscriptions as described above.
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of:
- a serious or repeated violation of these Terms;
- fraud, payment abuse, or security concerns;
- unlawful activity;
- risk to children or other users;
- legal or regulatory requirements; or
- conduct that materially harms the Service or third parties.
Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to address the issue.
Termination does not remove payment obligations already incurred or rights that must survive termination by their nature.
17. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as available" basis.
Noriloop LLC does not guarantee that every generated story, illustration, narration, recommendation, or personalized output will be error-free, perfectly accurate, or suitable for every individual child.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for deciding whether particular content is appropriate for their child.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Noriloop LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, any limitation applies only to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Noriloop LLC in the State of New Mexico, United States, without preventing consumers from relying on mandatory protections available under the laws of their country of residence.
If a mandatory consumer protection rule conflicts with these Terms, the mandatory rule will prevail to the extent required by law.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, payment arrangements, security requirements, or business operations.
The current version will always be published on the Noritales website with its "Last updated" date.
Where required by law, we will provide additional notice before a material change takes effect.
